How to restore factory settings in your laptop . Every laptop is a little different here is a list of links that will explain how to restore your laptop to factory settings . Also remember formatting or wiping your drive will get rid of your operating system ,but restoring factory settings will not . To make sure you deleted your personal information once you restore factory settings delete the folder called windows old in c drive ,but if you want to take it a step further and completely erase any and all information so that even a hacker cant find your info use mini tool partition wizard to wipe your drive this will remove your operating system so you need to have a install disk handy if you want to restore your PC and remember you will need to click format during re installation if you wipe your drive if you want installation to work . Tip right click on cdrive in mini tool partition wizard and select wipe then apply .Restore Acer from desktop
